Outfit: Black "Friday"

Today is like friday to me because I don't have to go to work tomorrow (since I have worked about 45 hrs in 4 days), so this outfit was all about comfort! Unfortunately I really didn't get any good pictures. I leave for work around 6:45am now, so there is little daylight, and I haven't be able to find a spot indoors that provides good lighting without showing of the mess that is my home currently!

The boots and the jacket are new to the blog, though I have owned them for about 2 months. The boots are one of the pairs I have mentioned many times that I got from Payless when I discovered they offered a few boots in extended calf. These are plenty roomy even with my pants tucked in, which is a feat on my 16inch calf!! And since they are flat heeled boots, they really feel very much like slippers. I do wish I had bought 2 pairs of them as I think they will fall apart pretty quickly.

The jeans are also new to the blog. They are my very first, and only, pair of skinnies! Unfortunately I am between size right now, so they are a little looser fitting than I would prefer, but the next size down is much too tight. I really like them though I thought they looked better on me than they are appearing in pictures. I am not liking the whiskering, which might be worsened by the editing I had to do to the pictures. Hmmm.... time to look for a darker solid wash??

Thanks again to the lovely ladies that helped me to decide to purchase the brown boots I had blogged about. And to Kristen for helping keep in perspective and not settle if they aren't perfect when they get here! I will be sure to blog them when they come so I can get your opinions then.
